Entries:
All entries (including for sale or exhibition) must be on a signed, official CFA entry form or an exact copy. Entry clerk will call or email, if information is incomplete or illegible. There is a $50.00 fee for returned checks. Make checks payable to High Sierra Cat Club. All fees must be in U.S. funds and accompany entries. No refund for failure to bench. One benching request per exhibitor, please. Entry fee includes $2.00 mandatory CFA surcharge.

Health:
This is a non-vetted show. We ask that all cats and kittens be current on all vaccinations (FVRCP, FeLV, etc.). Under current CFA show rules, show management reserves the right to have any cat showing signs of illness, disease or parasites removed from the show hall, in order to protect other cats in the show. All claws must be clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for entry. No kittens under 4 months of age will be allowed in the show hall.

For Sale/Exhibition Cage Rules:
All entries, including for sale or exhibition entries must be on a signed, official CFA entry form or a facsimile. Kittens must be at least 4 calendar months of age or older and comply with all other CFA show rules.

Airport and Hotel:
Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is approximately 15 minutes (11 miles) to the show hall. There is no designated show hotel. However, there are three Hilton Honors that allow pets that are close to the show hall. One is in Woodland and the other two are near the airport.

 

Show Hall:
This is an accessible, non-smoking facility. The show hall has heat but does not have air conditioning

Benching:
This is a “BRING YOUR OWN BENCHING ENCLOSURES!! The benching space is 21” wide, 21” deep. One cat or two kittens may be benched per cage. Exhibitors with enclosures wider than 21″ will need to purchase a double space. Cages must be covered on all 3 sides and on the top.

Space Size:
A single cage space is 21”x21”x21”is provided with each entry. A double cage space is 21”x21”x45”. You may purchase a double cage space for a single entry@ $20. No more than 1 cat or 2 kittens per single cage space. Please bring your own cage.

Awards:
Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded for all wins in accordance with CFA Show Rules. All Championship, Premiership, and registered Kitten entries will be scored for CFA National and Regional awards. Registration numbers must be printed in the catalog. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to check the entry confirmation and notify the entry clerk of any errors before the closing date.

Show Rules: This show will be conducted in accordance with current CFA Show Rules. A copy of the CFA Show Rules may be obtained for $7.00 from CFA, 260 East Main St, Alliance, OH 44601. Show rules may also be obtained online for free at: https://cfa.org/cfa-manuals/.

Check-In and Judging:
Check-in will be from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Judging will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. on both Sat. and Sun. Advertised show hours will be from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Exhibitors and their cats must stay in the show hall during the advertised show hours, unless they receive permission from show management

Supplies and Miscellaneous:
Litter will be provided. Cat food will be provided as donated. Please bring your own food and water dishes, and your own litter pan. People food and drinks will be available from our food vendor
