Important:

Covid recommendations will be followed according to the rules in place at the time of the show. 
Spectators allowed as the law allows at the time of the show.

Entries:
All entries (including for sale or exhibition) must be on a signed, official CFA entry form or an exact copy. Entry clerk will call collect, if information is incomplete or illegible. There is a $30.00 fee for returned checks. Make checks payable to Seattle Cat Club. All fees must be in U.S. funds and accompany entries. No refund for failure to bench. One benching request per exhibitor, please. For sale entries must be accompanied by a regular entry. If you want a grooming area, please buy a groom space. Please remember that one double cage is 1/2 extra cage, not a whole extra cage. NOTE: Use of a single personal cage requires the purchase of a double cage space. ** Contact the entry clerk regarding TRNs **

Health:
This is a non-vetted show. We ask that all cats and kittens be current on all vaccinations (FVRCP, FeLV, etc.). Under current CFA show rules, show management reserves the right to have any cat showing signs of illness, disease or parasites removed from the show hall, in order to protect other cats in the show. All claws must be clipped prior to benching. De-clawed cats are not eligible for entry. All household pet entries over 8 months of age must be spayed or neutered. No kittens under 4 months of age will be allowed in the show hall.

For Sale/Exhibition Cage Rules:
Kittens must be at least 4 calendar months of age or older, and comply with all other CFA show rules. For sale or exhibition entries must be on a signed, official CFA entry form or a facsimile.

Show Hall:
The Cowlitz Regional Conference Center is located west of Interstate 5, exit 39, and just south of Washington Street in Longview. The entrance to the parking lot is off of Washington Street or 7th Avenue SW. Exhibitor parking is free. Emergency phone is 360-577-3121.

This building is a single-level, handicapped-accessible facility, and has no air-conditioning. By state law, there is NO smoking allowed inside the building or in the restrooms, but exhibitors may step outside the front doors to smoke. People food will be available on the premises. Grand parties are welcome!

Hotel:
There is no official motel for our show, but according to www.bringfido.com, there are several motels that allow pets within 15 miles of the showhall, but please check with your choice for their current pet policy. We DO NOT recommend Motel 6 in Kelso.

Cage Size:
Single cage size is 21″ x 21″ x 21″. Double cage size is 45″ x 21″ x 21″.  Ordering a double cage will add 1/2 a cage to your entry.  No more than one cat or two kittens may be benched in a single cage. All cages must have curtains covering the back, sides and top in addition to a rug or mat on the floor of the cage. All Security cages require a double cage space; $15.00 double cage fee applies.

Awards:
Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded for all wins in accordance with CFA Show Rules General Information: This show will be conducted in accordance with current CFA Show Rules. A copy of the CFA Show Rules may be ordered from CFA. All Championship, Premiership, and registered Kitten entries will be scored for CFA National and Regional awards. Registration numbers must be printed in the catalog. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to check the entry confirmation and notify the entry clerk of any errors before the closing date.

Check-In and Judging:
Check-in will be from 8:00am to 8:45am Sunday. Judging will begin promptly at 9:00 am – advertised show hours will be from 9:00am – 5:00pm. Exhibitors and their cats must stay in the show hall during the advertised show hours, unless they receive permission from show management. Our show hall is approximately 45 minutes from the Portland Airport, so please make flight arrangements accordingly. We’re very sorry, but at this time, we have no club-provided transportation available from the Portland airport or motels.

Supplies and Miscellaneous:
Litter will be provided. Cat food will be provided as donated. Please bring your own food and water dishes, and your own litter pan.
