Entries: All entries must be on a signed, official CFA entry form or an exact copy. Entry clerk will call or email if information is incomplete or illegible. There is a $25.00 fee for returned checks. Make checks payable to Call of the Wild . All fees must be in U.S. funds and accompany entries. No refund for failure to bench. One benching request per exhibitor, please. Entry fee includes $2.00 mandatory CFA surcharge.

All entries in Championship and Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as HHP with a HHP color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of Novices may contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number (TRN). No kitten under four months will be allowed in the show hall. Blue slips may be required for proof of age.

The MISCELLANEOUS (non-Competitive) CLASS is for any registered cat or registered kitten of a breed not accepted for Provisional Breed Competition. Miscellaneous class entries are examined by judges; however, no awards will be made in the class. All Bengal Championship, premiership and kitten entries and all Bengals in the show hall must be registerable (5 generation pedigree with no wild blood). A TRN can only be issued if the parents are CFA registered. Show Rule 2.19E.

Health: This is a non-vetted show. We ask that all cats and kittens be current on all vaccinations (FVRCP, FeLV, etc.). Under current CFA show rules, show management reserves the right to have any cat showing signs of illness, disease or parasites removed from the show hall, in order to protect other cats in the show. All claws must be clipped prior to benching. De-clawed cats are not eligible for entry. All Household Pet entries over 8 months of age must be spayed or neutered. No kittens under 4 months of age will be allowed in the show hall.

Household Pets: Judging of Household Pets is based solely on beauty and condition. Wild cats or wild cat-domestic hybrid crosses are not eligible for entry.

No Cats for Sale: No cat or kitten sales on public property are allowed in Santa Clara County.

Hotels: There is no official show hotel. San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC) is 8 miles from the show hall. Various pet friendly hotels are near the airport.

Space Size: Please bring your own cage! A single size benching space (21”x21”x21”) on the tables will be allotted to each entry. Double size benching space is 21”x21”x45”. You may purchase a double size space for $20.00. No more than 1 cat or 2 kittens per single cage space. Groom space is a double space. Club is requesting that no grooming space be placed in the aisles. Wire cages are not provided. Fabric cages are available to purchase for $30. Please let us know by Friday February 16 if you want to purchase a fabric cage.

Awards: Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded for all wins in accordance with CFA Show Rules General Information: This show must be conducted in accordance with current CFA Show Rules. A copy of the CFA Show Rules may be viewed online at https://cfa.org/cfa-manuals/ or obtained for $7.00 plus $2.00 shipping/handling from CFA, 260 East Main Street, Alliance, OH 44601. All Championship, Premiership and registered Kitten entries will be scored for CFA National and Regional awards. Registration numbers must be printed in the catalog. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to check the entry confirmation and notify the entry clerk of any errors before the closing date.

Check-in and Judging: Check-in will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Judging will begin promptly at 10 a.m. Advertised show hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Show hall opens Sunday at 8:30 a.m.

Show Hall: Santa Clara County Fairgrounds, Pavilion Hall, 344 Tully Road, San Jose, CA 95111 . Fairgrounds may require a parking fee.

Airports: San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC) is 8 miles from the show hall.

Supplies and Miscellaneous: Litter will be provided. Please bring your own food and water dishes, and your own litter pan. People food will be available from the concession stand. No outside food is allowed by this facility
